Discharge Hose Replacement (With RPO Code C69 Compressor)

DISCHARGE HOSE REPLACEMENT (WITH RPO CODE C69 COMPRESSOR)

TOOLS REQUIRED

J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:  Cap or tape the open air conditioning (A/C) components immediately in order to prevent system contamination.

1. Recover the refrigerant from the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the discharge hose to A/C condenser bolt (3).
3. Remove the discharge hose from the A/C condenser.
4. Remove and discard the sealing washer (2).
5. Cap or tape the discharge port on the A/C condenser.
