1. Install the stationary window into the opening. Refer toUrethane Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows   (See: Service and Repair/Urethane

Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows) .

2. Use masking tape (1, 2) to hold the liftgate window into position until the urethane adhesive cures.

3. Reconnect the rear window defogger electrical connector (2).
4. Install the wiper motor. Refer toWiper Motor Replacement - Rear    in Wipers/Washer Systems.
5. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Liftgate   (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk /

Liftgate Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate) in Interior Trim.

6. Close the liftgate.
7. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
