Allante V8-273 4.5L (1991)
2. Disconnect all electrical connections at the hydraulic unit and pump/motor assembly.
3. Remove sensor block cover retaining bolt and remove sensor block cover. Take care not to damage the cover gasket during removal.
4. Using fingers or a small screwdriver, disengage the locking tabs and disconnect the valve block connector (12-pin) from the sensor block.
5. Disengage the reed block connector (marked "PUSH") by carefully pulling outward on the orange connector body. The connector is partially
retained by a plastic clip and will only move outward approximately 13 mm (1/2 inch).
6. Remove the three sensor block retaining bolts.
7. Carefully disengage the sensor block pressure port from the booster/master cylinder assembly and remove the sensor block from car. The sensor
block pressure port is sealed with an 0-ring and extra care should be taken to prevent damage to the seal.
INSPECT

Sensor block pressure port 0-ring for damage. Replace 0-ring if cut or damaged.

Sensor block wiring and connector for proper retention and routing, or damage. Correct any damage or replace sensor block if damage cannot be
corrected.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Pull reed block connector (2-pin) outward to its disengaged position prior to installing sensor block on hydraulic unit.
2. Thoroughly lubricate the sensor block pressure port 0-ring with fresh, clean brake fluid. Carefully insert pressure port into booster/master cylinder
assembly orifice, taking care not to cut or damage the 0-ring. Position sensor block for installation of mounting bolts.
3. Install sensor block mounting bolts. Tighten to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.).
4. Engage reed block connector by pressing on orange connector body marked "PUSH".
5. Connect valve block connector (12-pin) to sensor block.
6. Install sensor block cover, gasket and mounting bolt.
7. Connect sensor block and control pressure switch connectors.
