Troubleshooting Hints

Try the following checks before doing the System Check.

1. Check Fuse 9 by operating the Radio.

2. Check Fuse 15 by visual inspection.

3. Check ground G200 by operating Power Door Locks.

4. Check Fuse 1 by visual inspection.

5. If the STOP ENGINE-TEMP Indicator is continuously lit with the engine running, check WHT/GRN (37) wire for a short to ground and check for

shorted Engine Metal Temperature Switch.

6. If the STOP ENGINE TEMP Indicator is continuously lit with key in RUN and driver's door open, check Ignition Key Warning Switch for a short.

7. If Key In Ignition Warning operates normally with the LH door opened, but also operates when the RH door is opened, check Diode Array

Module for shorted diode.
