Enabling The SIR System
Install or Connect

Turn ignition switch "OFF".
1. Yellow two-way connector and connector position assurance (CPA) at the base of the steering column
2. SIR fuse # 12 to fuse panel.
3. Left lower sound insulator.

Turn ignition switch to "RUN". Observe "INFLATABLE RESTRAINT" indicator lamp. If lamp does not flash 7 to 9 times and then remain
off, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT DIAGNOSIS.
