Control Valve Assembly

CAUTION:  At the time of manufacture, it was not recommended that the shift solenoid be removed from the control valve body due to a
chance of damage to the valve body bore. Check with manufacturer for current procedures and availability of replacement parts.

REMOVE

1.  Case side cover.

2.  Wiring harness.

3.  Oil Pump.

4.  Control Valve Body.

5.  Solenoids and spool valves are held in place with blind hole roll pins (you cannot drive from opposite side). Remove blind hole roll pins with a

modified drill bit.

6.  Remove shift solenoid.

CLEAN AND INSPECT:

-

Valve body bore.

-

Solenoid.

NOTE:  Do not wash solenoids in solvent. Damage to the solenoids can occur.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1.  Install shift solenoid.
