Transmission Mode Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Winter Mode Switch Removal Procedure

1. Remove the gear selector boot from console. The boot snaps into console and can be removed by gently pulling on front end of boot.
2. Remove the connector from switch.

IMPORTANT:  Do not pry the switch from console as damage to console trim panel may occur. Dislodge the switch from console by reaching
under console opening near gear selector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Winter Mode Switch: Installation Procedure

1. Install the connector to switch.
2. Install the switch to console making sure to fully seat.
3. Install the gear selector boot to console by snapping into place.
