Section 0B of the 1982-1985 Service Information Manuals list "throttle body mounting bolt torque" or "fuel injection mounting bolt torque" as an
emission control service item. Some editions of the 1982-1985 Cadillac Service Information do not list a torque specification.
Throttle body mounting bolt torque specifications are as follows:
TORQUE
1982-1985 HT4100/DFI
20 N.m (15 ft.lbs.)
1983-1985 2.0L/EFI
23 N.m (17 ft.lbs.)
