Body Control Module: Removal and Replacement
Dash Integration Module Replacement
DASH INTEGRATION MODULE REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the I/P closeout panel.
2. Disconnect the closeout panel light electrical connector (1).
3. Remove the screws securing the dash integration module (DIM) to the I/P.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connectors to the DIM.
2. Install the screws securing the DIM top the I/P.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to (2 N.m 80 lb in).
3. Connect the closeout panel light electrical connector (1).
4. Install the I/P closeout panel.
5. Program the module. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (DIM)Body Control Module (BCM)
