NOTE:

Apply a non-hardening sealer to the sensor threads prior to installation in order to prevent coolant leaks. Use P/N 1050805 or the equivalent

Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the ECT sensor.
3. Install the wiper motor module.
4. Fill the coolant system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
