Suction Hose Replacement (Rhd With RPO Code LA3, LY9)

SUCTION HOSE REPLACEMENT (With RPO Code RHD, LA3, LY9)

TOOLS REQUIRED

-

J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector

-

J 45689 A/C Quick Joint Tool

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Remove the battery.

3. Using the J 45689 (1), disconnect the suction hose from the evaporator by pressing the probe end into the two small openings in the plastic quick

joint.

IMPORTANT:  The body of the tool should be parallel to the A/C line.

4. Remove the suction hose retaining screw (1) from the clamp.
5. Separate the suction line from the clamp.
6. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
