Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Loosen the 2 screws located at the top of the air cleaner assembly.
2. Separate the 2 air cleaner assembly halves.
3. Lift the air cleaner element from the assembly.
4. Reset the air cleaner element indicator, by pushing upward from the bottom.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Clean out all traces of dirt and other contaminants from the air cleaner base and lid.
2. Place the air cleaner element between the assembly halves with the 2 locating tabs positioned down.
3. Join the 2 air cleaner assembly halves.
