Evaporative Canister Filter: Service and Repair
EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CANISTER FILTER REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister.
2. Carefully pry the EVAP canister filter cover from the EVAP canister.
3. Remove the EVAP canister filter from the EVAP canister.
4. Clean the inside of the EVAP canister filter housing with a clean shop towel.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Insert the new EVAP canister filter into the EVAP canister.
2. Snap the EVAP canister filter cover to the EVAP canister.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the seal is properly seated in the cover.
3. Install the EVAP canister.
