2. Connect the electrical connector to the power seat switch.
3. Slide the power seat switch upward into the seat cushion frame.
4. Install the push-in fastener in order to secure the power seat switch to the seat cushion frame.
5. Install the J channel retainers securing the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame.
6. Install the seat cushion cover over the switch.
7. Position the power seat switch bezel over the switches.
8. Engage the power seat switch bezel fasteners in order to secure the bezel to the seat cushion frame.

9. Install the power seat switch knobs.

10. Install the seat cushion. Refer toSeat Cushion Replacement - Front   (See: Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat

Cushion Replacement - Front) .

11. Enable the SIR System. Refer toSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7    for driver seat and toSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9    for passenger

seat in SIR.

12. Perform the passenger presence system preload test procedure when replacing or performing any repairs on the passenger seat. Refer toControl

Seat Switch Replacement - Power

Removal Procedure

Caution:  Refer toSIR Caution    in Cautions and Notices.

Important:  The passenger seat is equipped with an Inflatable Restraints Passenger Presence System, which is attached to the bottom seat
cushion. A preload check will have to be performed after any repairs that involve removal of seat cover/trim.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer toSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7    for driver seat and toSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9    for passenger

seat in SIR.

2. Remove the seat cushion from the adjuster track enough to gain access to the power seat switch. Refer toSeat Cushion Replacement - Front   (See:

Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Cushion Replacement - Front) .

3. Remove the knobs from the switch by gently prying them off using a flat-bladed tool.

4. On the underside of the seat cushion, locate the retainers (1) securing the power seat switch bezel to the seat cushion frame (3).
5. Squeeze the retainers while gently prying the bezel from the seat cushion frame.
