Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair
Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the vacuum brake booster. Refer to Power Vacuum Brake Booster Replacement (See: Power Brake Assist/Vacuum Brake
Booster/Service and Repair) .
2. Without disconnecting the front park brake cable, remove the park brake pedal assembly and position aside. Refer to Parking Brake Lever Pedal

3. Without disconnecting the steering column from the intermediate shaft, lower and support the steering column. Refer to Steering Column
Replacement (See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Steering Column Replacement) .
4. Disconnect the brake pedal position sensor (1) electrical connector.
