Camshaft Cover Replacement - Left Side (LLT)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement  (See: Intake Manifold/Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement (LLT)  (See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel

Supply Line/Service and Repair) .

3. Remove the crankcase ventilation pipe. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (LP1, LY7)  (See: Powertrain

Management/Emission Control Systems/Positive Crankcase Ventilation/PCV Valve Hose/Service and Repair/Positive Crankcase Ventilation

4. Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors.

5. Remove the wiring harness from the side of the camshaft cover by sliding the conduit down and outboard.
6. Remove the wiring conduit retainers from the camshaft cover by rotating the wiring harness conduit retainers counterclockwise.
