CTS RWD V6-3.6L (2008)
8. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose bracket bolt (2).
9. Disconnect the power steering gear outlet hose (4) from the power steering cooler hose.
10. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose fitting (1) from the steering gear.
11. Support the front frame with jackstands as needed.
12. Remove the left and right side engine mount bolts from the front frame. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side (AWD) (See: Engine,
Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Engine Mount/Service and Repair)Engine Mount Replacement - Left

13. Disconnect any electrical harnesses from the front frame as needed.
14. Disconnect the power steering gear solenoid electrical connector.
15. Remove the front frame bolts. Refer to Front Frame Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive) (See: Body and Frame/Frame/Subframe/Front

16. Slowly lift the vehicle on the hoist until there is enough room to remove the steering gear from the vehicle.
17. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose (3) from the vehicle.
