1. Install the CKP sensor.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the CKP sensor retaining bolt and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

3. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (SFI)   (See: Starting and Charging/Starting System/Starter Motor/Service and Repair)Starter

Replacement (V8)   (See: Starting and Charging/Starting System/Starter Motor/Service and Repair).

5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Program the transmitters. Refer to Transmitter Programming (without RPO Y41)   (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning

Programming (with RPO Y41 - Canada and Europe)   (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning).

8. Perform the CKP System Variation Learn Procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn   (See: ).
