3. Install the gear outlet hose (5) to the steering gear.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

4. Install the gear outlet hose bracket bolt (4) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
5. Reposition the latch plate (3) onto the gear inlet and outlet hose fittings.
6. Install the latch plate bolt and tighten to 22.5 Nm (17 lb ft).
7. If you removed the front compartment lower noise shield, install the shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All

Wheel Drive)   (See: Body and Frame/Splash Guard/Service and Repair/Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement)Front Compartment

8. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Air Dam/Service

and Repair/Front Air Deflector Replacement).

9. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding   (See: Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair).

10. Remove the drain pan.
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Install the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake

Manifold/Service and Repair).
