Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the rear wheel drive shaft. Refer to Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (RPO LP1/LY7) (See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and
Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair)Rear Propeller Shaft Replacement (RPO LSA) (See: Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and
Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair).
3. Using the J 24420-C and the J 2619-01 , remove the rear drive axle flange.
