Battery Negative Cable Extension Cable Replacement (3.0L,3.6L)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front compartment side sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Spoilers,

Flaps, and Air Dams/Air Dam/Service and Repair/Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Replacement).

2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon)   (See: Battery Negative

Cable Disconnection and Connection).

3. Remove the battery negative cable ground bolt (1).
4. Lift the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).

5. Remove the Battery Cable Terminal Bolt (1).
