Note:  Place scribe marks on the lower intermediate steering shaft and the steering gear prior to removal. These marks will be used for the correct
alignment during installation.

2. Remove the lower intermediate steering shaft bolt.
3. Disconnect the lower intermediate steering shaft from the steering gear.
4. Disconnect the intermediate steering shaft from the upper intermediate steering shaft.
5. Remove the lower intermediate steering shaft from the vehicle with the intermediate steering shaft still connected.

Note:  Place scribe marks on the lower intermediate steering shaft and the intermediate steering shaft prior to removal. These marks will be used
for the correct alignment during installation.

6. Remove the intermediate steering shaft bolt.
7. Disconnect the intermediate steering shaft from the lower intermediate steering shaft.
