3. Raise the vehicle.

4. Install the upper control arm to the steering knuckle.
5. Install the upper control arm to steering knuckle retaining nut and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).

Note:  Step 6 is for RWD vehicles only.

6. Install the lower mounting bolts (1) for the shock absorber and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

Note:  Step 7 is for AWD vehicles only.

7. Install the shock to the shock absorber yoke. Refer to Front Shock Absorber Yoke Replacement   (See: Front Shock Absorber Yoke Replacement).
8. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
9. Lower the vehicle.
