CTS Sedan RWD V6-3.0L (2010)
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Clean any dirt from around the differential fill plug (1).
3. Remove the fill plug (1) from the differential.
4. Check the differential fluid level, it should be even with the bottom of the fill plug hole to no lower than 6 mm (0.25 in) below the opening.
5. Add new fluid if necessary. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (See: Specifications/Fluid Type Specifications/Differential
Assembly/System Specifications/Rear Drive Axle/Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
6. Install the differential fill plug (1) to the differential and tighten to 39 Nm (29 lb ft).
7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
