Subject: Door Trim Panel LED Pin Spot or Light Pipe Lamps Inoperative (Replace Lamps Instead of Entire Door Trim Panel Assembly)
Models:
2008-2011 Cadillac CTS Sedan, Sport Wagon and Coupe (Including V-Series)
Equipped With Deluxe Interior Lamp Package (RPO TSQ)
Attention:
The purpose of this bulletin is to alert the field that the LED pin spot and light pipe lamps are available separately from the door trim panel assembly.
Several cases have been found where the door trim panel assembly has been replaced when the replacement of either of these lamps was all that was
necessary.
Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to add the 2011 model year and models and change the Warranty Information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number
08-08-42-006A (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).
Condition
Some customers may comment that the LED pin spot or light pipe lamps in the door trim panel are inoperative.
Correction
Technicians are to diagnose and if necessary replace the LED pin spot and/or light pipe lamps. Do not replace a door trim panel assembly when the
lamps are the only parts that are required. Refer to the table below for the proper part numbers.
