7. Remove the retainer nut (1) securing the driver side air inlet panel reinforcement brace to the brake booster stud.
8. Remove the push pin (2) securing the air inlet panel to the fender flange.
9. Lift the driver side air inlet grille panel (3) over the wiper arm drive spindle and disengage the air inlet panel from the seven windshield frame and

plenum panel clips.

10. Remove the driver side air inlet panel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the driver side air inlet grille panel (3) to the vehicle, over the wiper arm drive spindles and secure the integral retainers to the seven

windshield frame and plenum panel clips.

2. Ensure the air inlet grille panel integral retainers are positioned and secured to the windshield frame and plenum panel clips.
3. Install a new retaining nut (1) securing the driver side air inlet panel brace to the stud on the brake booster assembly.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

4. Install the screw (2) to the inner fender flange and tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb in).
