Subject: Proper Removal of Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Covers For Any Related Service Repairs

2007-2010 Cadillac CTS, CTS-V
Attention:
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide detail regarding the proper removal of the front seat adjuster track finish covers for any related service repairs.
Following the steps outlined below will help eliminate the likelihood of breaking or damaging the seat finish covers.
Remove the front (1) or rear (2) front seat adjuster track finish covers following the information and steps below:
Note
When installed to the seat adjuster track, the front finish covers are engaged at the locations noted on the underside view above:

On the inboard side, the finish cover hook (1) attaches behind the front adjuster hook.

The forward tab (2) is secured underneath the front of the adjuster rail.

On the outboard side, the rearward tab (3) sits behind the front adjuster hook.
