9. Disconnect the left rear park brake cable (2) from the left rear park brake actuator lever (3).

10. Use the J-37043 - Parking Brake Cable Release Tool to compress the retainer on the left rear park brake cable (2).
11. Remove the left rear park brake cable (2) from the left rear park brake cable support bracket (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the left rear park brake cable (2) to the left rear park brake cable bracket (1).
2. Ensure that the locking tabs are properly seated.
3. Connect the left rear park brake cable (2) to the left rear park brake actuator lever (3).

4. Install the left rear park brake cable (2) to the left rear support mounting bracket (1).
5. Ensure that the locking tabs are properly seated.

6. Connect the left rear park brake cable (2) to the equalizer (1).
