Removal Procedure
1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1, LLT) (See: Cooling System/Service and Repair/Cooling System

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair)
3. Reposition the radiator hose clamp (1) at engine oil cooler hose using J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers.
4. Remove the radiator hose (2) from the engine oil cooler hose.
5. Remove the left engine splash shield.
6. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement (See: Tune-up and Engine Performance

7. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF1) (See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner
Housing/Service and Repair)
