1. Install the front compartment sight shield, if necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Spoilers,

Flaps, and Air Dams/Air Dam/Service and Repair/Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement).

2. Raise the front edge of the cover (2) while inserting the rear tabs (3).
3. Lower the front edge of the cover and slide cover rearward so that the rear tabs slide under the retainers.
4. Align the cover over the oil fill tube.
5. Press the cover down firmly on the ball stud at the right front corner.
6. Install the oil fill cap (1).
7. Install the cross car brace, if necessary. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Frame/Cross-Member/Service and

Repair).
