Throttle Body And Throttle Body Spacer Removal

THROTTLE BODY SPACER REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor connector.
3. Crankcase vent pipe at air intake duct.
4. Air intake duct with air cleaner housing.
5. Throttle Position (TP) sensor connector.
6. Transaxle vent hose and vacuum lines at Idle Speed Control (ISC) actuator bracket.
7. Vacuum manifold at throttle body.
8. EGR pipe at throttle body spacer.
9. Throttle body mount bolts.

10. Throttle body spacer.

CLEAN

Throttle body O-ring sealing surfaces.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Throttle body spacer.
2. New O-ring seal, throttle body and throttle body mount bolts. Tighten Throttle body bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb. in.).
3. EGR pipe at throttle body spacer. Tighten EGR pipe bolt to 28 Nm (21 lb. ft.).
4. Vacuum manifold at throttle body.
5. Transaxle vent hose and vacuum lines to ISC actuator bracket.
6. TP sensor connector.
7. Air intake duct with air cleaner housing.
8. Crankcase vent pipe at air intake duct.
9. IAT sensor connector.

10. Negative battery cable.
