DeVille V8-4.6L VIN Y (1998)
1. Install the master cylinder.
2. Install the attaching nuts

Tighten the master cylinder attaching nuts to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.
3. Connect the hydraulic lines. Install the tube nuts.

Tighten brake pipe nuts to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
4. Connect the rubber hose to the reservoir nozzle.
5. Secure the hoses with a clamp.
6. Connect the electrical connector to the fluid level sensor switch.
7. Fill the master cylinder to the proper level with clean brake fluid. Do not fill above the maximum level indicator.
8. Bleed the hydraulic system.
9. Recheck the fluid level.
