DeVille V8-4.6L VIN Y (1998)
1. Install the booster onto vehicle.
2. Connect the booster pushrod to the brake pedal.
Tilt the entire vacuum booster slightly. Work the booster pushrod onto the pedal clevis without putting undue pressure on the pushrod.
3. Install the booster attaching nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.
4. Install the booster vacuum hose to the vacuum check valve.
5. Install the master cylinder to the booster and the attaching nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
