Body Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION:  Before servicing any electrical component, the ignition key must be in the OFF or LOCK position and all electrical loads must be
OFF, unless instructed otherwise in these procedures. If a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with a live exposed electrical terminal,
also disconnect the negative battery cable. Failure to follow these precautions may cause personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its
components.

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the electronics bay board. 
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Disconnect the body control module fasteners.
5. Remove the body control module (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the body control module (1) to the electronics bay board.
2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Connect the body control module fasteners.
4. Install the electronics bay board.
