TIRE CHAIN USAGE DESCRIPTION
Due to limited tire-to-body clearance, tire chain recommendations are published in the Owner's Manual. If using tire chains, use the SAE Class S tire
chains. Class S chains may also be designated as 1100 Series, Type PL tire chains. These chains are specially designed to limit the fly off effect that
occurs when the wheel rotates. Manufacturers of tire chains make a specific chain size for each tire size in order to ensure proper fit. Therefore, obtain
chains specified for the tires on which they will be used. Do not use rubber adjusters to correct for the wrong size chains. Always follow the chain
manufacturer's installation instructions. Tire chain clearance is extremely limited. For this reason, use chains only when absolutely necessary.
