INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the door module (1) and latch/lock (3) to the door. Perform the following steps.
1.1.Hang the module on the studs.
1.2.Hand start the fasteners (5) securing the door module to the door.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the fasteners that retain the latch to the door.
TIGHTEN

Fasteners (2) to 10 Nm (89 lb. in).
3. Tighten the fasteners in the proper sequence as shown in the illustration.
TIGHTEN
^
Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
4. Connect the wiring harness.
5. Install the rivets retaining the window to the sash.
6. Install the following components to the latch.

The outside handle
^
The lock rods
