Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Relieve fuel pressure.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove air cleaner assembly, then drain engine coolant.
4. Remove cross car brace, then accessory drive belt.
5. Disconnect power steering and tensioner bracket assembly and position aside.
6. Remove alternator and bracket.
7. Disconnect throttle cable from throttle body.
8. Disconnect the following electrical connectors and position aside:
a. Distributor.
b. Oil pressure switch.
c. Coolant sensor.
d. EGR solenoid.
e. ISC motor.
