1. Disconnect the harness connector from the EBTCM.

2. Inspect the EBTCM header connector for a damaged plastic boss. Replace the EBTCM if the plastic boss is broken.

3. Inspect the harness connector. Check for terminals that are pushed in or damaged. Repair or replace damaged terminals using wiring repair kit,

P/N 12166317.

4. Carefully reseat the harness connector, making certain it locks into position.

5. Pull up on connector to assure it is locked.

6. All Bosch ABS/TCS components should be returned to Robert Bosch Corp. for analysis, (GM of Canada dealers should return parts through the

regular parts handling procedure):
