INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install parking brake lever assembly to the mounting studs.
Install lever attaching nuts.

Tighten the parking brake lever nuts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the parking brake switch.
Connect the vacuum line to the parking brake release solenoid.
3. Connect the front parking brake cable to the lever assembly.
4. Reposition carpet.
5. Install the I/P sound insulator panel.
6. Raise and suitably support to vehicle.
