3. Install the latch release cable (3) to the rear compartment lid lock cylinder (4).
4. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the rear compartment lid latch (2).
5. Install the rear compartment lid trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement (See: Trunk / Liftgate Interior Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement) .
6. Close the rear compartment lid.
