Door Lock Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard)  (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear

Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Replacement/Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard)) or Front Side Door Trim Panel
Replacement (Standard)  (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Replacement) .

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lock switch.
3. Use a flat bladed tool to disengage the locking tabs (1) from both sides of the switch.
4. Remove the lock switch.

Installation Procedure

1. Snap the door lock switch into the door trim panel.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard)  (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear

Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Replacement/Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard)) or Front Side Door Trim Panel

Removal Procedure

1. Insert a flat bladed tool under the rear edge of the front door switch plate.
