Sunroof / Moonroof Drain: Service and Repair

Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Interior Moulding /

Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Headlining Trim Panel Replacement) in Interior Trim.

2. Cut the tie wraps from the rear drain hoses.
3. Remove the drain hoses from the sunroof module.

4. Remove the tape from the drain hoses.

5. Remove the upper portion of the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips.

6. Remove the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side) and Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side  (
See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side) in Body Rear End.

7. Remove the lower portion of the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips.
