Intermittent "Traction Engaged" Message and/or ABS Warning Lamp Activation (Replace Wiring Harness)

Condition
Some customers may comment on one or more of the following conditions when accelerating from a stop:

An underhood noise may be heard in the passenger compartment (ABS pump running)
^
The "Traction Engaged" message may momentarily appear on the Driver Information Center
^
The amber ABS warning lamp may come on and a DTC C1225 may be set as a current or history DTC
Cause
Electrical noise is induced into the left front wheel speed sensor harness due to electrical activity of the surrounding wires within the harness.
Correction
If the above conditions cannot be corrected by using the normal strategy based diagnostics listed in the applicable Service Manual, replace the engine
compartment section of the left front wheel speed sensor harness with the harness contained in service kit, P/N 12167672.
Important
To insure correct installation, the instructions contained in the kit must be followed.
