Condition
Some customers may comment on the high effort required to move the steering column shift lever out of the PARK (P) position.
Correction
A new Automatic Transaxle Control Lever Assembly is now available from GMSPO.
Replace the existing steering column shift lever with the new assembly, P/N 26092330.
Refer to Shift Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in the Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt sub-section of the Service Manual for the replacement
procedure.
