2. Lightly oil the replacement oil filter gasket with clean oil.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the new oil filter.
Tighten the new oil filter to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the engine oil drain plug.
Tighten the engine oil drain plug to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove the oil drain pan from under the vehicle.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Fill the engine with the appropriate amount of new engine oil.
8. Inspect for oil leaks after engine start up.
9. Verify oil level.
