100. Connect the inflatable restraint rear seat inflator module deployment harness wires (1) to the power source in order to deploy the inflatable
restraint rear seat inflator module.
101. Disconnect the inflatable restraint rear seat inflator module deployment harness wires from the power source.
102. Twist together one end of each wire of rear seat air bag module on the passenger side deployment harness in order to short the wires.
103. Stretch the three driver side harnesses to full length if equipped with rear seat air bags (option AW/9).
104. Completely cover the windshield and front door window openings with a drop cloth.
105. Place a power source, 12V minimum/2 A minimum (i.e., a vehicle battery) near the shorted end of the harnesses.
106. Separate the two ends of the driver inflatable restraint steering wheel inflator module deployment harness wires (3).
107. Connect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module deployment harness wires (3) to the power source in order to deploy the inflatable restraint
steering wheel module.
108. Disconnect the inflatable restraint steering wheel inflator module deployment harness wires from the power source.
109. Twist together one end of each wire of inflatable restraint steering wheel module on the driver side deployment harness in order to short the wires.
110. Separate the two ends of the driver inflatable restraint side impact/pretensioner inflator modules deployment harness wires (2).
111. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact/pretensioner inflator modules deployment harness wires (2) to the power source in order to deploy the
inflatable restraint side impact and pretensioner inflator modules.
112. Disconnect the inflatable restraint side impact/pretensioner inflator modules deployment harness wires from the power source.
113. Twist together one end of each wire of side air bag/pretensioner modules on the driver side deployment harness in order to short the wires.
114. Separate the two ends of the driver inflatable restraint rear seat inflator module deployment harness wires (1) if equipped with (option AW/9).
115. Connect the inflatable restraint rear seat inflator module deployment harness wires (1) to the power source in order to deploy the inflatable
restraint rear seat inflator module.
116. Disconnect the inflatable restraint rear seat inflator module deployment harness wires from the power source.
117. Twist together one end of each wire of rear seat air bag module on the driver side deployment harness in order to short the wires.
118. Remove the drop cloth from the vehicle.
119. Disconnect all harnesses from the vehicle.
120. Discard the harnesses.
121. Scrap the vehicle in the same manner as a non-SIR equipped vehicle.
