Discharge Air Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
A/C Temperature Sensor Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The right A/C temperature sensor is shown, the left is similar.
1. Remove the IP endcap.
2. Grasp the A/C temperature sensor (1) and twist counter clockwise 1/4 turn in order to release the sensor from the A/C duct.
3. Remove the A/C temperature sensor (1) from the duct.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the A/C temperature sensor (1).
5. Remove the A/C temperature sensor. (1).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C temperature sensor (1).
