6. Remove the four bearing and hub retainer bolts.
7. Remove the hub and bearing.
8. Remove the brake shield.

Installation Procedure 

1. Clean the control arm face and bore before installing the hub and bearing.
2. Install the brake shield. 

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the hub and bearing to the control arm with the four bolts.

Tighten the hub and bearing bolts to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.). 

4. Install the brake rotor. Refer to Brake Rotor Replacement - Rear (Without J55) or Brake Rotor Replacement - Rear (J55) in Brakes and Traction

Control.

5. Install the brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear (Without J55) or Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear (J55) in Brakes and

Traction Control.
