Drive Belt Replacement - Auxiliary 

Removal Procedure

1. Loosen the auxiliary generator mounting bolts (1, 2).
2. Remove the auxiliary drive belt.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the auxiliary drive belt to the pulleys.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. While pulling upward on the auxiliary generator tighten the auxiliary generator adjusting bolt (1).

Tighten the auxiliary generator adjusting bolt (1) to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

3. Tighten the auxiliary generator mounting bolt (2).

Tighten the auxiliary generator mounting bolt (2) to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).

4. Start the engine and check for proper belt and accessory operation.
