Tighten
Tighten the screw to 7 N-m (60 lb in).

Hand start the power steering pressure and return hose fittings at the steering gear.
Tighten
Tighten the hose fittings to 27 N-m (20 lb ft).

Connect the power steering wiring harness connector.
29.
Position the heat shield and install the wiring harness clip to the shield.
30.
Install the heat shield fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N-m (79 lb in).
31.
Raise the frame into position and hand start the frame mounting bolts. Tighten Tighten the bolts to 191 N-m (141 lb ft).
32.
Install the outer tie rod ball joints to the steering knuckles.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 45 N-m (33 lb ft).
33.
Install the transaxle mount bolts and nut.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts and nuts to 50 N-m (37 lb ft).
34.
Rotate the stabilizer shaft into position and install the stabilizer shaft links.
Tighten
Tighten the links to 13 N-m (10 lb ft).
35.
Connect tie intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear.
Tighten
Tighten the pinch bolt to 47 N-m (35 lb ft).
36.
Connect the height sensor links to the LCA studs on the vehicles equipped with Road Sensing Suspension (RSS).
37.
Install the wheel and tire assemblies.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 140 N-m (100 lb ft).
38.
Lower the vehicle and remove the Steering Column Lock Pin J 42640.
39.
On vehicles that required hose replacement, position the upper clamp of the pressure hose onto the engine stud and secure with a nut.
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 9 N-m (8 lb in).
40.
On vehicles that required hose replacement, hand start the pressure hose fitting at the steering pump.
Tighten
